    Thanks all for the input.......

    considering doing refer/dry van mostly in the winter,
    then flat's mostly during spring/summer/fall.....

    As I said before, seeking another avenue to make $ in this business..........

    Hey blackW900 what is the lowest you will accept a load at?

    Come on now the snow is an awesome thing and rain psh thats why we have gore tex and rubber rain pants.

    Not less than $2.00 a mile and lately I've been in the $2.50 to $3.00 range.


    If they offer less...I'll sit and wait for something better and usually they will call me back a little later and meet my rate.

    I have been doing flatbeds for 3.5 months now. I am with Maverick and they are excellent. I would not recommend learning from a book. I would get someone to show you the proper way. Way to serious to take lightly.:biggrin_25524:
