    Just because they say you need 12 mos. exp. does not mean they wont consider anything less. I noticed they are hiring in Utah for someone with at least six mos. exp. Pay wasent that great but might be worth a shot, maybe they would train the right person. Probably the reason the ND job seems to pay well is because they are very productive up there right now and oil is big $$$. One thing about up that way is you will get cold and most of your driving will be on dirt/gravel roads.

    and there must be a lot of work outside of the truck. Not just steering wheel holders and dock bumpers here. Bring your long johns.

    Well i am going, I have worked for Sysco Foods for the past 5 years. So the wife an I are headed to the unknown. If the opportunity is right and they are not full of crap it could be worth dealing in the cold....ugh...better then this 110 heat i had today. If anyone knows somebody that is up there would love to hear.

    Overview
    Drivers deliver freight from manufacturing plant to customers throughout the 48 states, but primarily the New England area via flatbed. There are no New York City deliveries.  Drivers are responsible for strapping and unloading freight using a using moffett.  Drivers work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays.  Drivers average 2500-2700 miles per week. Drivers are home most weekends. Drivers are assigned late model sleeper cabs which can be taken home on off days. Paid orientation.

    $0.38 per mile
    $925 guarantee pay per week
    Stop pay
    Average $51,000 per year

    Requirements
    CDL-A
    1.year of tractor trailer experience
    3 months flatbed experience
    Must be 22 years of age
    Moffett experience helpful but not required
    Logbook experience

    No Touch freight means that the driver does not have to load nor unload the trailer.
