    Romans Dude, a couple suggestions for ya'. FFE out of Dallas, Tx. has a terminal in Fla, Wildwood, I think, plus Lester Coggins might be able to help you. And call Sage trucking school if they have a place in Fla. A great school and know about WIA.

    WIA that's how I got my CDL the total cost of my schooling, CDL testing fees, hard copy plastic as well as all books was $0! It was a price I could well afford!

    got through to a recruiter, Gary is no longer there, but talked to Chris. Very nice guy. Explained what I was looking for, where I was coming from, obstacles and such... he searched for my application, went through it, told me to contact him after I got a change of address (even for Ocala I am out of their hiring area). Told him about my desire to move to Alabama. He said to call him back in the morning and he should have time to run my MVR.

    He said they MIGHT even be ably to give some kind of prehire status before I get the Alabama DL!

    So now I pray about it.... and start thinking about visiting Alabama to go the their DMV....

    things are starting to fall into place!

    Jtm, I owe you lunch my man!

    Dude, that is b.s. I'm from Putnam county and am currently in Ocala now waiting on Orientation tomorrow. That means I've already been through their school. I will pm you the email and phone # for the recruiter I dealt with.
