I know its a hard thing to do,but you gotta get that credit situation cleared up.People will not lend you money unless they are pretty sure of getting it back. When I bought my first truck I financed it thru Associates Truck Loans. It was not a very good deal, high interest, and I paid it off in about half the time of the note, and had to pay all of the finance charges, for the entire length of the originasl loan. But I got my foot in the door,The next truck was a new one which my local bank financed.I know its hard, but you gotta start somewhere.

I have seen web sights where private people give loans up to $20.000 to other private people. You state the interest you are willing to pay and others put up some or all the needed money. Its a way for people to invest their money for a better return then the bank.private people set up a FDIC insured account and then loan the money themselves. These loans have a 1-10 year pay back time.

the reality is you are going to need good credit, and it doesn't sound like you are in any position to be buying a truck right now, but that doesn't mean you have to give up

why not wait until you rebuil your credit and are in a better position to put a down payment on a truck, these things don't happen overnight.

You know, with hard work...you can get a truck. I've been saving money for years now and FINALLY have enough to buy one with CASH! Plus, have enough for an account for repairs, etc. I cut everything out with this goal in mind because I didn't want a huge truck payment. I want to earn my CPM free and clear minus maintainence, repairs, fuel, etc. It can be done if you're willing to put in the hard work to get there.

With a good mind set and enough determination it can be done. Just gotta think outside the box and figure out other way's. I'm pretty much in the same boat. I don't have bad credit and I do owe a little but I just don't have enough credit. So I'm going to team with a friend of mine where I know I can bank $1,000 a week if not more and just ride it out and save everything. We are both planning on going completely independant. Just gotta start small and work your way up. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Problem is, is trying to find those people. They are hard to search. Not many are willing to do so because that put's them at stake if the barrower doesn't pay it back.

Just google person-to-person lending......plenty of sites where you fill out one app and it goes to many people.
