Michelle Monaghan stars in Trucker

Saw this movie a few weeks ago. It's actually pretty decent. More a story about a women estranged from her son after she splits with her son's father. Then the dad comes down with cancer and she has to take care of him. Mostly about the conflict between her and her son. But she DOES drive the truck, and there's a fair amount of the story that revolves around that. Some of the parts are a bit... unrealistic (wait till you see her run around in her underwear....) But overall a good story.

 

Is she like a one movie wonder?

 

She's a model, pretty famous one too from what I've seen. But she definitely has some acting chops. I was really surprised by how well the whole movie was done, considering.

she's been in several movies. this was an indie movie that finally got released on DVD last year.

 

Really, I watched with hopes it would be good and was sadly disappointed.

Bad acting, bad writing, bad character development, bad story line. I really wished I hadn't wasted my time.
