I've heard Roehl is now having student flatbed drivers start out in van for a while before moving to flatbed later. Has anyone joined Roehl in the last month or two to pull flat and ended up being put with a van trainer instead? It may be because they don't have enough flat trainers at the moment- not sure.

I was told I'd go do the school for three weeks then get on the truck with a van trainer for the EVO's then be on a van running solo with the "extra help" till I got it down. Then they will bring me back in for load securement for 4 days. Paying me 100 a day. After that they are going to send me out with a flatbed trainer for at least 9 days. Not sure what they are going to pay for that time, but 100 will work... lol wishful thinking?
I'm still not sure I'm going to Roehl for sure yet. Got to get some paperwork filled out from my cardiologist. It's still between them and Millis. I see a lot more of Millis trucks thru the I90 corridor in Erie... So hmmmmm.....

I am a trainer for Roehl. They do not have enough trainers on flatbed to train all the new drivers that want to try flat bed. I can train both but choose van because it gets me home with more regularity.

I am currently waiting to hear from one of you trainers to get picked up! You coming? lol just kidding...
The guy called on Wed. but I had told Marshfield I was not available till Thursday, not to mention the guy wanted me to drive 100 miles to meet him in less than two hours and if I missed him its my problem... lol I'm just hoping that I get a call soon! I'm looking to get back here by the 23rd...

The one guy I graduated with got lucky and got hooked up with a flat bedder for his evo 1. He left Wed. Tested me today asking if I got picked up yet...

it all depends on if you get a flat bed trainer. i had all flat bedders so when i tested out monday i got hooked up with a flatbed truck. and thursday got a flat bed load going through the house. even though they tried to get me to go through the cargo securement in marshfield. everything straighted out. i head out to mass. on tuesdayy.
