So I don't know what all the bs about endzones ticket had to do with the OP. Endzone made his statement and got hacked for it. ....deservedly in my opinion. But has anyone felt targeted in the Buffalo Wyoming area I believe was the original post.
question for everyone?

You bet! Let me think.....
-
Awh, come on man, it's still Wyoming--right? What's the difference. There aren't any big towns in Wyoming. It's all the same.
-
The ticket was only like $93.00, and they told me to mail it in. It will go off my record in a few days.
Check out his podunk town in WY called Jeffrey City. I mean out in the middle of nowhere! Can you imagine what it would be like to live in a place like this. It used to be a boom mining town.
-
Looks very peaceful to me....quiet, everybody knows everybody...probably don't even have to lock your front door when you leave town for a day or even a week!
Just the way everywhere SHOULD be! -
Just because YOU haven't got sense enough to drive at or near the speed limit doesn't mean that everyone's that way.
My truck isn't governed and will do 100+ if I want to but I have sense enough not to and that's why I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in years!
No...It's not! No more than YOUR common sense!
You admit that you ran up on a cop doing at least 7 MPH over the speed limit and that somehow in your mind the cop was out of line in giving you a ticket?
What planet are you from?
You don't really understand how radar works do you?
Yeah...The cop was just out to get you! LOL!!!
Really? Because I check my speedo against them all the time and there's a fairly wide variation in them, I'm talkin up to around 5 MPH plus or minus.
Exactly!
I personally have a lead foot!
I use the cruise control in my truck all the time to keep from getting out of control with regard to my speed.
You REALLY don't have a clue about how radar works, Do you?
Exactly!!
I've been through Buffalo, WY. quite a few times and have never had any problems.
But the OP was pretty vague as to what the problem was...So, Who knows?
Still waitin' for a clue?
All of you old geezers like livin' in the middle of nowhere!
Saddle Tramp and last 1 Thank this. -
blackw900, you sure you haven't been out there too long this time? Bwah, haha. Although I do apprecaite the entertainment value of your post, I want to encourage you to chill out for a while. Thanks.

I of all people am not one to tell anyone how to drive, But with the economy in the tank, Cities and States are looking for anyway to make revenue and Truckers are a huge revenue, considering Most will just pay the fine and move on,
-
Looks a little like Roosevelt Oklahoma, the town time left behind.

Unless there is some obscure local requirement, or department policy, the officer does NOT have any obligation to lock in a violators speed. The officer my choose to show the violator a locked speed but there is no requirement to do so. In many cases the officer can provide more complete and compelling testimony if the speed is not locked.
