I wanted nothing to do with the hippie movement. I was in Jr. High school in the late 60s. It didn't affect me at all. I guess you and I lived in 2 different worlds in the late 60s. And by the time I got in high school in the early 70s, the hippie movement was pretty much over. People didn't even say "far out man" anymore.

I give up. There's no use in trying to reason with someone who "always sets the cruise for 5 over" and insists he does not speed.

It's like trying to teach a pig to sing opera. All it does is give you a sore throat and annoy the pig.

Twenty-three years ago doing 71 in a 65 outside of Wilcox, AZ. My speedometer said I was going at best 67. Had my Speedo checked and verified that is was off. In military at the time and duty related events prevented me from being able to go to go to court. Oh well.

    To the O/P
I just went thru Buffalo Wy last week and had no problems at all, but than again I don't speed and don't even recall seeing any type of officer so I don't think they are targeting trucks. Maybe some more info would help.

To the 53 year old that can't get it through his head that 5 or even 3 over is breaking the law, you need to man up and except the fact that you got caught and move on and quit blaming other people for your mistakes! You sound like a little whiny spoiled brat. Funny how with some people ITS ALWAYS THE OTHER PERSONS FAULT, umm, no, the officer was doing his job and you where speeding and got caught.

I have followed this thread from beginning. I am convinced that Endzone is messing with all of us. he is enjoying him/herself just a little too much!

I will take Injun's lead and not entertain him/her any longer. I believe he/she is not a truckdriver but a four-wheeler with no CDL.

    Injun Thanks this.

I'm pretty sure I state in this thread that I was a 53 year old male, and also that I had decided to not get into truck driving. One thing I have learned from this thread and being on this board is that truck drivers seem to lack a certain amount of social and relational skills--at least some of you do. Of course maybe the truck drivers that are "normal" don't post on this board. But a lot of you seem like you have been beaten with a black rubber hose. Truck drivers seem to me to have to put up with a lot of crap, and maybe that is why you are lashing out at me. It's hard to know.

Check out this little device.......Ive used it and love it.Personally I think the speed governed trucks are just as dangerous as excessive speeding.I use it responsibly and havent had a speeding ticket yet.......http://fastertruck.com
