Ok.......
Some of you 4-wheelers out there on the ribbon are in dire need of schooling.....
Scenario #1. Truck driver needs to turn around on a narrow street with a "Weight Restriction 500' Ahead" sign.......(Driver was given wrong direction to gain access to work site in case you are wondering)...
Driver lines (With 4-ways flashing) up diagonal to a side street to "blind-side" back.....
What do you do as a responsible 4-wheeler:
Scenario #2. Truck driver needs to make a wide right turn into a narrow driveway from the left lane with the right turn signal flashing...
- Wait patiently until the driver backs up and then pulls out?
- Honk your horn and then pull behind his trailer?
- Call the driver a "Stupid mother effer" and drive behind his trailer?
What do you do as a responsible 4-wheeler:
- Run by him as fast as you can?
- Wait patiently so that he can safely pull into the drive way?
Scenario #3. A driver is making a left turn from the outside left turn into a narrow turn area with cones and a concrete center divider....
What do you do as a responsible 4-wheeler:
Finally...
- Get in between the trailer and the center divider and almost get pinned between the rear trailer tires and the concrete divider?
- Wait until the trailer has completed its turn and you can proceed safely?
You see a driver making a left turn....two 4-wheelers made a left from the left travel lane while the driver was attempting to go through the intersection.....Now the driver is stuck in the intersection and cannot move until the 4-Wheelers who just cut him off pull through the next intersection.....You get the "green"...
What do you do as a responsible 4-wheeler:
- Look at the driver and shake your head?
- Roll down your window and yell at the driver for being a "Stupid azzhat"?
- Wait patiently knowing that the other impatient 4-Wheelers screwed both you and the driver?
In case you are wondering....yes it happened today...within a span of two hours.......

I need to know one thing first.
California 4 wheeler law or another state? -
Hmmm....It happened in Cali....but it applies everywhere.....Well.....except for the farm towns.....the mining towns....Somehow...the 4-wheelers in those places "get it"....shriner75 and Diesel_Smurf Thank this.
-
Dang,
That makes it tougher.
Working Class Patriot Thanks this. -
most of those 4-wheelers have to go home and face a truck driving relative.
the rest are just survivers, and have learned better.
tech10171968, Lilbit, johnday and 1 other person Thank this. -
I think they need to do alot more schooling to get a normal DL. 90% of people in 4 wheelers have no idea how to drive around a Semi. Plus most of them have no common sense.
CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
Actually I find it somwhat amazing and touching that so many legally blind and/or totally illiterate folks can both get a Dl and a car.
I mean, they haveta be that don't they.... the way they ignore traffic lights and signs and such? Surely anybody sighted and able to read the basics would drive right up to construction despite Lane Closed warning signs for 2 miles back?
It's... it's.... downright inspiring.... that's what it is!!!! Kinda gets you right here y'know...*Sniff*. (places hand on butt)

Running up the Cajon past the coop....I cut-out to pass a slow Werner rig and a carhauler....Freakin' 4-Wheeler got pizzed because I wasn't in the truck lane so he brake checked me....and then flipped me off....Bear in mind...I didn't cut anyone off...and obviously the azzhat knew what he was doing by pulling a brake check....
Hey is that not illegal?
How about you DOT types?.....Would that not be impeding a truck? -
More advice to you 4-Wheelers....
#1 Do not park in the designated truck parking in a rest area.......Otherwise...the driver will have to take several 4-Wheeler spots.....
#2 When a truck is pulling a grade....Do not cut the truck off.....Otherwise the driver has to slow down and drop a few gears....To get back up to speed wastes fuel, time...and pizzes off more 4-Wheelers trying to get in front of the line at the Starbucks.... -
*eyes WCP and gently shakes my finger at him* (no not THAT finger....the index finger)
And I seem to recall you saying something like I was mean when I told the 4 wheeler guy that if he zipped in front of me and then came to a dead stop that I wouldn't be able to stop in time and would crash into him thus killing him, his wife, mother, children and his lil dog too. Now you seem to be upset with that same lil dog. lol
