DOT Foods, anybody got info on 'em?

hey bro whats up i live in Beardstown im 21 and gettin ready to go to LLCC in Sfield for 4 weeks in bout a month u think i have a chance at gettin hired?????? im 6ft 203 not fat nor am i lazy

When I drove for Holland Enterprise I use to deliver at DOT Foods whse.several times at Vidalia,GA.and Watertown,MD.and once each at Ardmore,OK.and Burley,ID.at all of these locations they treated me like I was their best friend and they were hiring drivers at all these places.I would work for them in a minute if I could they are a private carrier and in this business a private carrier is the best way to go in my opinion.

 

Produce pimp, have you talked to anybody at DOT? I work out of our DC in Indiana. I know they are hiring drivers right now in IL. You should call over there and talk to someone in transportation. I can give you some names if you like.

I will tell you this, it is hard work but you are paid well for it, as with any type of foodservice. We are not the typical foodservice like restaurants, convient stores and such but we do the same thing only places like Sysco, US Foods, MBM, Sygma and such those are our customers along with many others. I can give you some names of people to call and talk to if you would like. I'll tell you this, it is the best money, benefits, and home time that I have ever had since I started trucking. Like big rigger said, we are a private fleet and that's the best thing you can get into in trucking in my opinion.

u think i can get a prehire for them for school?? or should i wait till im out of school its Dot f's choice of school in Springfield to and do u think since im only 21 they wont hire me?? im like 10 mins from ther Mt Sterling HQ im goin to sign up for school tomarrow
