I agree 100%!
If you think you need a louder horn...You're probably doing something wrong!
The only time my horn ever even gets used is during an inspection...I haven't used it in traffic in years.

you must not drive in Atlanta...
four wheelers will scoot in front of you and slam brakes trying to get to their exit.

I think I've used my horn once in the last year. It's a waste of time. They know what they're doing when they cut in front or whatever. A horn won't change their attitude.
Now if I could mount a hidden paintball gun (or two) in my front bumper.... -
And tooting your horn after they do that accomplishes what?
I drive in Atlanta quite a bit...I know what's going to happen there and I deal with it...I don't honk my horn and flip them off because I'm not 12 years old anymore.
Maybe you should get a train horn!
They'll never cut you off then....

I only use mine, when I get request from the yungins.Just to see the big smile on their faces brings the memorys back from my child hood.
Lilbit Thanks this. -
That's the main reason to use a horn as far as I am concerned. The train horns would have been fun to use while passing golf courses and driving ranges though . . .

walleye Thanks this. -
go through a town about 3am that dose not have train tracks and lay on the train horns and then whenever people get up about 7 or 8 they will be like did you hear that train that went through this morning
-
What TURKER said...
And for the people that get those wannabee train horns from truck stops etc. Get a real train horn. Find them on Ebay. Can be alittle pricey and they are heavy but there is nothing like the real thing... -
I just had a SERIOUS Yoda flashback.
-
Correct I think you are.
