I think it's probably a 1 lb loaf pan but I'm really bad on estimating sizes. You could do a google search and find the answer.

I looked it up and the pans are 8" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/2". I also think there 1 lb pans. Check the dollar stores i know they had some for 4 for a $1. Also i heard walmart has them 2 for $1. Just need to look around for them. When you find a good deal stock up on them.

Thanks for the help everyone! I will get the 1lb ones then. 50 for $8 dollars is the best I have found so far. I really appreciate this thread. Has given me many great ideas.

Calling all wives that ride with their hubby's and fix meals on the truck?? What are some good ideas for meals and preparing them so a person isn't spending a arm and a leg eating out? I haven't even gotten on the truck yet and hubby is spending more than he wants too and at 29 cents a mile that's huge!! :biggrin_25513:

I haven't read this whole thread so this may have been mentioned already but I like using a crock pot. Made a heck of a nice stew over an 8 hour run when I spent a month OTR with a friend. Got about 4 good meals out of it. Put the left overs in tupper wear like containers, kept them in the cooler and used the microwave to heat them up.

A great way to eat healthy at a very reasonable cost buying everything (food wise) at Wal Mart.

I'm one week away from getting my class A and once I get hired, that will be one of my plan for meals.

    SWEET TATTER Thanks this.

Hey Guys n Gals .... been running local for the past 10 years and now i'm back out OTR. I need a good 12V cooler but not sure whats a good brand to get these days. I dont need a real big one cause I don't eat a lot plus I'm super broke right now. (Right now just paying for the ice to put in my igloo every day is getting to be a hardship:biggrin_25521:) Any advise would be appreciated!
