    HEY REDD...
I'm not trying to be a smart a66 but from post #1, paragraph 6, what the he77 is a "perimod"? I've tried everything I could think of and can't come up with any definition.:biggrin_25526:

I think he means "pyramid". Like if you are loading small diameter drill pipe, you layer the pipe to where it takes a pyramid (triangular) shape. Then you belly wrap the load with a chain, and strap it down on the trailer.
I prefer to strip, or place 2x4's in between the layers myself. Makes it easier to forklift it on and off.

I learned to always use 2x4 wood between the loads.

Sorry I think I misunderstood, my mistake and I apologize. I have never tarped or flatbedded and I was out of line.

It was a figure of speech... Meaning that I'm not dispatched on 200 miles a day like those TMC boys. I've got miles to cover... And the sooner TMC get's their ### out of my way, the sooner I'm loaded, tarped, moving, then delivered!

I dont pull a flatbed and I dont pay a lumper. I have all of the equipment to unload my truck on my truck no matter what ridiculous demands a customer may make. And it pretty much unloads itself. I've thought about flatbedding before but maaan its a lot of work...
