1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I didn't know if you knew who he was? As far as I know he's a nice guy. Last time I seen him I was just a little kid.

Hope it works out for you.

My first day of training went pretty good. Met with human resource's at 8am, finished up some paperwork, my driver trainer picked me up at 9:30, dropped off the load at the mill ran empty back to the other mill to drop and hook to another loaded trailer, then back across town to the same mill and i got to drive. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first, but think I did just fine, he didn't tell me if I did anything wrong. Our day ended at 12:30. Now I'm sitting in the hotel with nothing to do. Maybe I'll go to sleep, gotta get up at 2am.

Made it thru first week of local training okay. Heading out Sun afternoon for my OTR training, we are going down to Richmond, VA.
So far everyone that I met at the company seems nice.

    Les2 Thanks this.
