Have you noticed a lot more violations recently where the truck driver doesn't speak English? What does it say about the trucking company if it has a lot of violations like this?

Well, I for one couldn't tell what it says...since I can't understand the language they are saying it in!

Many states will not bother to ticket drivers for this. Just too much trouble.
Rather funny I think. They will not let me slide on a weight violation, or a log book violation. But not being able to understand an officers requests or to comply with them the officer will let them go.
To me that is just as bad of a safety violation. -
we will find out sometime this week if Arizona will be allowed to do what the feds simply pretend to do.
all the best,

They should be put out of service until they can speak English.

I know that WY is cracking down on this. They told a Bosnian driver when he came to the port of entry that he had to take a english test. He failed so the D.O.T officer had him park the truck and called the owner of the company and had him come to WY to get the truck.
