Talking to a couple of other flatbedders, we wondered about which fb companies have weekend home policies.

We came up with Maverick, TMC, CT, Boyd Bros., McElroy, right off the bat.

    Others?

McElroy is not a bad place to work most of the dispatchers and office staff are okay. They will get you home on the weekends and i think they pay 100 bucks if you have to stay out.

If you live between Eastern Iowa & Baltimore, MD & have experience, I will get you home every weekend. We are not a true flatbed company. We haul machinery out & flatbed freight back. Mostly steps & RGNs. www.papetransfer.com

I like Howard too. Just got an invite to start training. I will go monday aug 2nd. They told me to keep the receipt where I fueled up and they would pay me for the gas it took to get there and back. They also have company paid ins. and life ins. that a kicker for sure. If you live too far away they will put you up in a motel. Over all they seem to be a real good company, I got a good vibe from them anyways.
