apparently your all missing the point i am not slamming new century in any way the problem with truck drivers is they all think thay know it all.. if i was looking for a job i would listen to what someone had to say about a company before i took it upon myself to make the decision.. Trust me i been in this bussiness for 28 years and one thing i have learned is to stay away form truck drivers opinions.. i didnt work for new century i know alot of people that did or does i know dispatchers i know drivers i know dock workers i worked for jevic for 11 years and trust me i can slam the hell out of them but what good does it do.. i worked there till the last day.. all i was doing was warning the gentlemen of the down falls there.. Every company on the road has there faults and i mean everyone.. For the most part truck driver are nothing but whinny babies will sit around and cry there not making any money but will go up to the window and turn loads down and then wonder why after 3 days there still sitting in the yard... new century survived the economy turmoil because a company like jevic went out of bussiness.. I almost went over there to work but i spent to many years in the ltl bussiness and to many years knowing the job will never change.. Just remmeber one thing csa 2010 might shut new century down and alot of there drivers.. So if you take what i say as slamming im not and no reason to report them as a bad trucking company because there all bad.....

Then we could use the argument that csa 2010 could shut down every trucking company couldn't we? Most drivers on here do take the time to do some serious research before they switch companies. We understand your point Hard Rider... there is no perfect company out there.

It's just that you seem to get very defensive when others don't agree with you. If New Century turns out to be a bad decision then I will be the first to admit it. But in my opinion I don't think they will be and I'm willing to find out first hand.

 

thank you mushroom your seeing where im coming form i dont care if anyone agrees with me or not im not looking for that i just talked to one of my friends to day local guy up out of north jersey he personally knows harry for many years and he is getting screwed daily the new century of yesterday doesnt exist and eventually harry is going to do to new century what he did to jevic.. its already being done.. i commentd you mushroom for seeing dispatch for what they are they dont want to here a word do your work get it off no matter what way you have to do it.. ask them if they came for jevic.. if you want a really good dispatcher his name is greg parker.. tell him your a friend of scott shumacher see what he says to you.. he is a local dispatcher there i think.. im sure you met vernon brown.. in recruiting and charles fria and wait till you meet or cross mike macman i heard his is really brutal.. your right mushroom you work for every penny.. and if your a trailer load driver before and been for a while you will not make it at the ltl bussiness it takes a special breed of driver to be a ltl over the road driver.. wait till its snowing and they tell you hook to a set of doubles or at a trl and be in clevland in the am and they trully dontr know the 10 hour rule.. and very sorry looney tune.. i guess your missed your calling as a english teacher.. the only one i disagree with here is you.. keep trucking mushroom

 

Yep, you and I will have to disagree. Though I don't think the insult was necessary. Keep on trucking Mushroom, it does sound like it will be hard work over there. You will definitely earn your money. I'm willing to give it a shot. I'm confident it will work.
