im otr, but i know of a few customers in the area. Durecell Batteries near Chattanoga, Gen Mills/ Americold Murfresboro, you'll see alot of that.
The brewery in Cartersville,Ga, More Americcold in/ around Atlanta, and Kroger. There's plenty to keep you busy.
Sorry no info on the Florida division.
Don't be surprised if you find your self out of ther s e region. I know drivers from every region, and once in awhile they get sent to another region on differant runs.
Hope you like rail Yards. Regioanl trucks see alot of them, even though we do have a intermodle division.

You wont have any problem getting home living in athens. You will probably get home every 7 to 10 days for a 34 hr restart, then back on the road again if you go regional. As for miles, i dont really know, but i would guess 1,800-2,500.

thanks guys i appreciate the info. running out of my region wont bother me any, in fact id welcome it for extra miles and just a change of scenery. i just like the regional title for the home time. 1800-2500 miles aint too bad at all for the economy as it is but to be honest i wouldnt want to many of those 1800 weeks... but a mans gotta do what hes gotta do. i had a good deal lined up with a different company but their main customer just got bought out and they lost the account so needless to say its slim pickens there now. i know martens policy is 1 day off for every 5 out if you go OTR but how long do they run you OTR? if regional is every 7-10 days i might just go OTR for the miles as long as i got home every 10-15 days or so.

    .
Im otr and i go home every 15 days. I take 3 days to 4 days off, then back on the road again. If i stay out a month i take 6 or 7 days off. They have never given me any problem if i take that extra day now and then. I have come back from hometime a day early sometimes,so it evens things out. I can take the truck and trailer home if i want, but sometimes i leave my pickup truck at the terminal.:sex:
