Thanks for the reply. Like I said, beggers can't be choosers at this point. Got a family to feed. But I will keep up with this post on my progress.

Wow, I've searched and searched on here. It seems NO company is good for a new driver.

cropduster its just the way it is people take things differently and have different experiences. remember most on here are honest hard working people. then there are those that want to whine and moan, then there are those that are planted on here! so weed thru the brush and find the truth you need. good luck!

i was told they are getting rid of the automatics. i was there last week after one day of orientation i left. the safety people were rude to the drivers if someone asked a question they would roll their eyes and tell you to ask tomorrow. one guy was there who just got in on the bus 2 hours before and was having a hard time staying awake he was told if he fell asleep they woulf go out in to the hallway and have a talk then they would send him home. they do not pay vacation pay or holiday pay they stopped that. they told us so many diffrent ways they will fire a driver. some i can understand but some of them was just nuts.

The white truck you refer to are not new. They were pro links tractors, a company that Arnold bought up about 5 years ago. I only had a chance to look in one and it was a strait 10. All the red freightliners are autos. Old used up US EXpress junk. I dont work their any more but I have see brand new KWs and Internationals. All red from the US Express fleet I assume.

It sounds like you may have a good case for a good lawsuit. If they send you any pay for the load you had already done do not cash the check until you talk to a lawyer...

Wow...I used to work for this company when they were Lebarnold & was fairly happy there. Miles were ok, made a decent living, good hometime....trucks weren't great but weren't awful either. Sounds like they have gone downhill....

us express and arnold have a finacial agreement with each other. basically arnold out of business without us express in there pockets. thats what arnold recruiter told month ago

You would either get hung up on or several term holds. But I would like someone to try, and clock it also, and report back. It would have to be one hungry recruiter to answer all those questions, let alone honestly.

Thank you very much!
