Just save your money till you can make that call to Mark V at Valentine yourself. They are well worth the money, regardless of what the "Reviews" say.I bought my first one back in 1991 and it cost the same then as they do today.(strange isnt it ?)

Tater you aren't a company driver,

    makes a big difference.

You can be dumb as a rock in your own truck.....:biggrin_2559:.

But a company driver can't be running questionable electronics !!!!!

In many areas a scanner is a misdemeanor, not just a little ticket ~!!!!!

$1000 fine, jail time, police reord,....just to listen to a scanner ???????

And I'm surprised that you didn't know that................

And that link says nothing about a 1000 dollar fine, jail time, or mark on your record. It shows a few states where it is a no no for anyone to have a scanner. Someone needs to provide a link showing what specific if any penalties there are for having a scanner in a commercial vehicle. Otherwise it's considered heresay.
