Can you smell antifreeze? could it be a tiny leak between the rad and intercooler

if you were to remove the rad cap off a cold rad and start the engine, the coolant would bubble like crazy if the head gasket was damaged, wouldn't it?

Assume your not seeing anything on the ground?
I believe most shops would probably drop the pan and pressurize the cooling system to see if it's pushing coolant past the head gasket.....#6 cylinder runs the hottest and is normally where things start 1st. How many miles?

not necessarily, usually the best way I know of to ck for a head gasket leaking is, with the engine hot, at operating temp, take the overflow tube and stick it in a coke bottle about half full of water and see how many bubbles you have in the coke bottle, if you have alot or big bubbles within a few seconds then you got head gasket problems.

Well I took the truck to the CAT house on Friday. Hopefully I will get the news on Monday or Tuesday. I will keep you updated with what they found. Thanks for all responses. Ive test and looked at all I know so, I guess the experts got in there hands. Hopefully not an arm and leg to fix it.
