everyone needs to read BAAACK's 1909 news review.

You'll see interesting things including something about wages being 41 cents.

Felt like some wages still use that 41 cent guideline!

    Great, keep us posted.

AFTERSHOCK - CRE is OFF my list when I get out of class (which is through the local community college). I'm doing alot of research anyway so I know which companies I will seriously look at. I know that since I'm a rookie I won't have a lot of leverage, but I'm not going the bottom of the barrell CRE type of companies either. Seems it was easier to get married than to find the "right" trucking company.

No.I didn't..I just saw the title of the thread and went with that. I don't think even a decent trainer at England is making anywhere near $80,000 a year at England.

    Kinda like a broken record?
    :occasion5: HaiL Cowboy!
You can pick and shovel my brain for
    a pint of Mississippi Mud.

But IMO, you deserve a pint for every year you were enlisted in the Corps. :salute:
And two more for escaping from the clutches of CRE.
There aren't many who've managed to do that.

    From the halls of Montezuma
    To the shores of Tripoli

We will fight the trucker's battles
And beat the snot out of CRE. :smt062
    :smt035:smt034:smt020

    :sign8:

    :laughing3:

Somebody wanna volunteer to take a peek over
the edge of the Earth to see if he fell off?
If so, did he land on his wheels?

    WoW!
That sounds really, .......... how can I put this?........ :sleepy4:

How many of the lower 48 states have you visited in a Big truck?

    HaiL!
I refuse to go that far south.
But I hear CRE has a terminal down thar.
    No air conditioning though.
And no loads come outta thar.
Those who buy into CRE's 'work ethics', and never turn down a load, who foolishly took that dispatch will be waiting an eternity
    for a back haul. :smt077:sad1::lichmalignus:

    Think harder?
    I hardly think at ALL.
I'll try though, ...... just for you.
    Hmmmmmm ------ OK.
Guess what I'm thinkin', ....................... harder 'bout. :biggrin_25521::biggrin_25523:

Would you like fries with that break? :biggrin_25525:

    Candy-Gram for Mongo.
    Candy-Gram for Mongo.

After all these years I can still remember where as was and which girlfriend I took to see Blazin' Saddles for the first time.
    I couldn't stop laughin'.
For once, I actually watched the whole movie instead of makin' out, kissie face, huggie bod --- steamin' up my pee-kup's windows.
As I recall, that girlfriend wasn't real happy though.
Seems she had something else on her mind.
    Bummers.
    No sense of humor.

Now SOMEbody's gotta ride back to town and get a whole
s _ _ _ bucket full-0-dimes,...................................(I think of that scene every time I come to a toll booth. The attendants can't figure out why I'm crackin' up as I part with my money.
I wish I could find a Slim Pickens mask.
I look like Mel Brooks and Charles Bronson, combined.
    Blazin' Chato's Land.
    Imagine that.)
    :biggrin_25523:

    WheW!
    I'm relieved to know that.
I really do worry 'bout you guys
    .
    Man-0-Man!
I'm feelin' even better after hearin' that.

I haven't felt this good on a Monday in a long time. :biggrin_25512:
    .Hmmmmmmm
    I'm not married.
    Might be a connection thar,

    Ya reckon.
    :laughing1:

You got the right idea. From where you live in Houston TX get the tankers and Haz-mat endorsement. Sometimes those companies will grab you the minute you cros six months driving and pay you unreal money, from where you live it's a good bet you can do something like that. Try YRC to, they are begining to hire again and getting in as a road driver in the Houston area is very do-able.

Also because your in a larger city look around and see what bottom feeder inc has dedicated routes in your city. The only good thing about the swift, Jb Hunts, ect... is the day cabs earn as much as the OTR people.
