Howdy all. I was wondering if anyone on here has any information about Heyl in Akron, IA? looked at their website, looks pretty good but they all do it seems. Tried the search function on this board but it says Heyl is too short to search for. If anyone knows anything, especially if you drove or drive for them, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks for your time!

There is a guy down the street from me who drives for them. Never have talked to him but have seen the same truck for 2 or 3 years now that shows up every month or two. Before the heyl truck I remember swift and something else that didn't last long. Hope this helps a little, good luck.

I pulled a few loads for them a few years ago. A friend had 4 trucks leased to them and needed a fill in driver for a little while. Ran bannanas from Gulfport into Canada. Pretty good outfit from what I remember.

They hire from all over and its a very good outfit. With the head office in Akron IA and terminals in FL, IA, AB, WA and so on. They have new equipment which includes Volvo, FLD and International. Trailers mostly reefers. 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Web Site is www.hyel.net. Hope this will help.

I drive for Heyl, we don't hire from all over the place. Our last newsletter says we are looking for people in Central Florida, Texas, Iowa, Sioux Falls, and the Tacoma to Seattle-Portland area. Not hiring in Tennessee or Maryland. I love this company, they have been very flexible with me and love "Almost" everything about them. They keep me moving!

edavies78, you happen to know how much experience they want? I have 6 months I am moving to IA and Heyl seems like a darn god choice.
