I applied with them today. Guess I will know yey or ney soon. I could have bluffed on the 2 jobs in the last 12 months. As most recent is a ghost if I don't bother mentioning it. But figure if I do that I will surely end up screwing myself later. Not all of us can get away with being like Obama and omitting things. So if they say yey then great. If they say ney I will re-apply when I might stand a chance at hearing "yes".

Good luck finding that company. Also I HATE sitting around, as long as I can run those miles and make money y complain like someone. I look at it this way when my truck is paid off I'd be making more.daddy&mama2go Thanks this.

Ok say your average per week pay per mile was 1.60. Now would you run 2500 miles even though you only ran from sunday to wednesday or would you keep going and use up your 70 and possibly hit that 4K mile mark??
Now I can see if your making 2.00 a mile and hit 2500 a week but why not run more if you can? Are you not out there on the road to make money? I thought the purpose of a job is to make money and when you can make more money why would you turn it down?
Alanp613 Thanks this. -
welcome aboard and good luck, cya out here!

quite simply,,regardless of the pay per mile aspect,,if i am out here away from my family,,i #### well better be moving that truck,,if it ain't going, then i better be home.
now to jjw, hate it for you that it did not pan out for you here, its rare to hear about a team being on short miles over here,,,,but it does happen,,,good luck on your new venture and give us a shout out once in a while and keep us informed.Panhandle flash and Alanp613 Thank this. -
Thats kinda what I am saying, if I am away from my family the wheels better be turning and I better be making money. Key word MAKING! If not I will be at home with my wife and my hobbies.

I was parked next to a truck today that had the letter Q at the end of the number. From the way it was explained to me the 1st driver in a truck does not have a letter then next driver is "A" and then every driver after that the letter goes up. So that would mean that is the 18th driver in that truck correct? That is an awful lot of drivers that leased it that did not successfully complete the lease. Something to think about.

Must be sad to have to live with such jealousy. Maybe you should come work for JCT instead of trashing it. Oh, what? They wouldn't hire you?
Alanp613 Thanks this.
