Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

We are recruiting professional drivers now. One of the benefits of driving with R+L is the free stay at one of our three resorts. Apply here: http://www.rlcarriers.com/joblandingpage.html?utm_source=forum-postjobpage

Interested but how much otr experience is required? My hubby has less than a year but is currently teaming with Covenant.
-
Let me just state the obvious.
If a trucking company can afford to buy not one, not two, but three resorts then its pretty obvious they ARE NOT paying the guys that made it possible enough.
One resort owned by a trucking company is excessive but three?????????????????? -
I didn't think about that.

R+L Carriers delivers the best of both worlds...great pay, and second to none employee benefits. We pride ourselves with being family owned and operated and offering competitive salaries with opportunities for advancement at all levels of employment. Three exclusive employee resorts provides for a wide range of family entertainment which we feel is vital to promote longevity with the truckline.
-
Visonary - our drivers must have at least one year of verifiable driving experience.
-
Nothing said negates my earlier statement.
If RL has money enough to buy not one, not two but three resorts they certainly have more than enough money to pay their drivers beyond their wildest dreams.
If you truly were a driver first company you would need VERY few $$$ in your advertising budget. The drivers would be your best form of advertising you could possibly buy.
Sell one or two of those resorts and give ALL your drivers a .10 to .20 immediate raise on all miles. Hand out a $1000 cash bonus or extra payment into your employees retirement accounts.
You would see your need to advertise drop to nothing.
Having 3 resorts for "driver retention" is a joke, and most drivers today can see right thru such a ploy. In fact drivers or former drivers such as myself wouldn't consider RL because of all the recruiter smoke thats being blown around. Or would be turned away by this.
Think on it, you'll find that I'm more right than I'm wrong.
