Really? I said it 60,000 times? Where did you learn to count?? Honestly...I stopped posting..and still someone has to run their mouth...I am glad JBS is working out for some...and it wasnt bad to us...but having a child w/ a disability meant that we needed him home more...cant fault a man for trying to be there for his family...after 11 years in the Army and SERVING his Country..and being hit by an IED while in Iraq...he decided he spent more than enough time away...and needed to be home more....So...SharonCOX...go back to school..and learn to count...
Thank a Veteran...it is he who fights for your freedom.....

Well Folks I am at home on Home time, and after running for 9 days here is what I have made so far in those 9 days, 4200 miles, at .40 per mile, plus Detention pay and Breakdown pay( one day turbo went on new truck, issue from the manufacturer my truck was Brand New 18 miles on the ODO) So after Uncle Sam Takes his chunk out I will bring home about 1550.00 for 9 days out, and Home for 3 so The Money Yes it is there, and the miles are there. If you communicate with your Dispatchers, Load Planners You can get home as often as You like, But spending 2-3 weeks out equalls more time at home, and MORE money to pay the bills with.
I will head out On Saturday preplanned for 2996 mile run out west, then pre planned to head right back out east, Leave on saturday Deliver on Wednesday Early AM , Lay up for 34 hour reset then Back out east for tuesday the following week , so another 6000 miles in 9 days Anyone who would complain is a fool.

please make sure to ask the folks at JBS what happened to the company they bought out and why Colo. State Patrol are watching JBS very carefully because of the former company they bought out.

I know what Happened to the Packerland drivers and The EA Miller Drivers, other than they were spoon fed spoiled rotten Green Bay Pack rats, the turds left and the Professional Drivers Are Still here at JBS, Same with Miller, many more of them here than those who left.
Striker Many Driver have crap to say about companies who buy out companies who are in financial trouble. If you ask the Former CEO of Packerland where he would be today if JBS would not have bought them you might get an Answer like CLOSED up and Bankrupt, same with EA MILLER that is what the former drivers who quit JBS will not tell you but the ones who are still here today will gladly tell you Packerland was in financial trouble. Along with Miller. IF you want to talk about the employees who work in all the packing plants that they have bought along with Pilgrims Pride that they bought, they will tell you conditions are better today than they ever were. And new additions to the plants and Major Improvements are happening often.
You have to remember that any company starting off is going to have problems and it takes about five years to get a trucking company SOLID on the ground.
JBS Has had it's fair share of issue's and they have worked hard to address them, I can tell you this that in 23 years of driving and most of them for smaller companies with less than 40 trucks, This company is on the right track, Excellent Maintenance program, they are working hard everyday to improve on Dispatch and Load Planning gaining new customers everyday, 99% of the people in the offices today are some of the greatest people you could want to work with, note I did not say work for they have a new attitude about Drivers being the biggest part of a trucking company. I called in to Dispatch said " hello boss" and was quickly corrected that No I was the boss, all with a joking conversation I was informed that as a Driver I have as much say and input as the HR people. I thought ok well here is my suggestion. That was just last week and Guess what, my idea was put into action with some refinement from the mangers who know business and ethics better than I do.

As for the CO State Patrol, Hell Striker it is public Knowledge that JBS got audited in April and was fined Heavily by DOT, No news there it is on the FMCSA web site. JBS Safestat went from a 45 to a 74 in 3 months, that is why all TRUCKS will be on E LOGS by October 1. And there are a load of drivers no longer here as they could not keep logs right. Never amazes me how many drivers think that they know how to run 3 books and they can not even keep up one.
But Yes I am Aware that they are under the microscope with CO State Police, they great thing is in the Last 7 years I have NO Violatons or failed Inspections, 17 years accident free and I have never been shut down for HOS violations or Equipment so I hope I get Level one inspections every time I get pulled in the coop I pass and the company looks good. They have tightened the reigns on the type of drivers they hire, no more stuper truckers.
