Yes,just started with them and I'm loving it! Lotsa miles,good pay.Stay out as long as u want or go home in just 10 to 14. Days.

 

I'm home now and they got me here exactly at the time I requested A week and a half ago, I requested 7 a.m. on Friday; I arrived at 6:45 a.m.! i was just hoping to be within 24 hrs. of my request, so I'm impressed. I have a load with me so I'm ready to roll after my time off:load not due until Wed.
My check for my first week was $1122 gross; not bad for a rookie with 6 mos. experience. They started me at .34/mi. and we get an extra .04/mi. if we haul any hazmat. If you should have to unload a truck, they pay $100 or $50 if you just assist. Mostly no touch though; combination of drop/hook and live loads. If you have a passport, they will send you to Canada and pay for border crossing both ways, but they didn't ask me to get mine so I may skip it. There is also an idle bonus every month. If it's above 80 or below 30, you can idle all nite and they will adjust for it so it is not held against you.
There terminals seem nice so far: clean showers,free use of towels, free laundry, free laundry detergent, tv's, some have tv rooms with recliners,etc...

Thanks for the good info on TA. I just got assigned my tractor today out of the ATL terminal and roll on monday. Any good hints appreciated though. Good Luck out there!
