Wow, with all their "DRIVERS OF THE YEAR" and winning FREE International Trucks, I thought they were a better outfit. I guess their C.R. Englands NORTHERN DIVISION ! Harvey Zander Loves Em.

 

Spent from Oct of 2009 to Feb 2010 with Dart. Dart had lots of miles but no money for the driver. Turned the truck back in at Buford Ga. I stayed out for 67 days and still could not make any money to pay my bills at home. Highway Sales and Dart made money but not the driver. You can make money with Dart just dont do the lease program its a total rip off!!!ou have been warned!!

 

we drive for dart, as o/o w/pd off truck. we are making it but do NOT get ahead. never had so many red lights at scales in 10+ yeaRS. BEEN INSPECTED 4 times in 3 month. the thing of the gps and dart is true. it is right u are wrong!!! the log thing is way overboard and very true from what i read in here sofar. get paid of for what we do most of the time. currently you dont have to pay for your tag. they refunded the money we spend. BUT HERE is a new kikker!!: we got DOT'ed, no ticket. yesterday i get call from permits, did you pay ticket,yet? what ticket? $ 100.00, of course i said no didnt get one, yes you did. we pay and deduct out of your account. got copy of ticket is addressed to dart. we never seen it. its there ticket for our prob. but we will have to pay it. wonder if that is legal? and does that mean if we get ticket, than pay it, than have to pay the fine dot asseses dart?

 

Dart pays for baseplates, they pay for ezpass and will reimburse you for the OK tolls (Kansas and Florida are on you), and they also reimburse you if you need to scale your load. I've been with Dart for over 2 years now and they are not the best out there but definately not the worst. They are very aware of the trailer issue and are currently buying new ECO trailers. I guess I'm grandfathered in at the old rates because what was posted is not what I'm contracted at. I don't believe Dart is a company to stay away from but, have your own truck when you show up at the door.
Oh yeah, they require those nose/hood mirrors and the recruiter reimbursed me the cost when I put them on. Bought them from Freightliner, sent him the invoice and I saw the money on my first settlement.

 

As with any company, if you want to lease or purchase a truck go and get it somewhere else and not from the company you will be driving for.

 

wish i would have seen this site (before) i be came one of darts many contributers to thier pockets, i got out but too late, i already lost just about all but my self respect, but i should have known the recruiter was blowing smoke at me whenever i was talking to him.

 

I saw one brand new trailer at work, they are like the Lochness monster. You hear about them, but never see them.
