besides getting kicked back out to the log in screen every once in a while it has been working pretty good.. Now it is even saving my previous prefrences which it did not do before.

Can anyone comment on how vans are running over at Mercer? I'm giving some serious thought of heading over there this week.

 

I've been running my tail off. I've only been here for 2 weeks so far but I've been making plenty of money and staying busy so far.

 

Good deal! I'm based out of Louisville, so I thought it couldn't be too bad. I'm mainly looking to run out and back. Do you think they are privy to that?

 

You control where you go. There is no forced dispatch. They find loads for you and you can take them or decline and wait for something else. Keep in mind some people will fail miserably doing that because they'll say oh I don't want to go here or there or whatever and end up sitting all the time because they want to only go to a certain area and such. Anyway good luck keep us informed if you do go with them.

 

I just found out today that Mercer is slowly phasing out Comdata. I heard the rumour first then called the fuel man to confirm it. When it will be completely phased out, I don't know. I suspect by the end of the year. They are going strictly TCH & that is why all new lease on's are only getting the TCH card.

I'm not real happy about that desicion nor am I happy that they didn't consult the driver's who use the cards & pay the fees first. Although I was told that the TCH will be cheaper on the fees & the fuel price will remain the same at all current fuel stops that Mercer negotiates with.

 

I'm headed back over there today with paperwork in hand. I've been on a pretty good dedicated(home every night) run for the past 2.5 years with another company. They had someone come in with a small fleet way undercut everybody and let us go without notice. Nice outfit, eh!?
