What about all the crosses other people place along the roadside to mark where a loved one was lost? If we are gonna get rid of some then all of them need to go!

There's nothing wrong with any of them IMO either. Let people commemorate things the way they wish. Stop trying to cram someone else's beliefs down our throats.

Of course it was a FEDERAL appeals court. :biggrin_25510: Go figure.

I'd like a line on what twit started the whole process. If the family is OK with honoring their fallen trooper with a cross (or a wiccan dealio or a pentagram or whatever), what right should any azzhat of ANY persuasion) have to tell them they cannot honor the fallen in that way?

I'm a Christian myself, but have no problems with what other people believe and if they want to commemorate or honor someone with the emblem of their choice, what right do I have to tell them otherwise?

Some people are stupid, brainless schnitbags that should be used for scientific experiments.

Could it be that the majority of those fallen troopers were Christian? Why not follow in the same line of thinking as the military and have a specific marker based on the fallen's religion?

Well, you are technically correct there! NON BELIEF would be the more accurate term. :biggrin_25525:
