Happy Birthday man! Things will get straight for ya, just like they will for me. No idea when that will happen, but it will.
-
it could've been worse... guy was cussin up a storm as he walked out Friday morning. Had his gear and a bus ticket... that sucks... don't know why or who just heard him talking...
-
One thing I have found out is that if you are sitting for any length of time waiting for a load assignment, is to keep bugging your FM. Once every hour or so. That keeps you noticed and not forgotten. May help get you a load quicker.
-
Well I'm still waiting. I understand it is Sunday, but where is the planning? I just hope I get something out of here soon. Before I'm stuck till Monday. 63 miles in 5 days is not ok with me... What can I do though on evo 3. Don't want to russell the brush too much... hmmmmm!!!!!!
-
Being in Evo 3 does put you in an awkward position. Like walking on egg shells. I'm 1 1/2 months out of Evo 3 and still have to tread carefully. LOL.

if your FM doesnt have you loaded thru the weekend you are kinda screwed... the weekend there are a couple dispatchers with thousands of messages coming in... when i was national mine always had me set thru mon am before he left on friday, sometimes 3 preplans sittin in the que... on the weekend dont bother calling them... they always have 9 guys on hold... accidents, late loads and tons of other calls besides you being mt... send them a QC msg once an hour...IF there is a load nearby then you will get it if not take a nap...
Zangief Thanks this. -
Is there a preference for any of the fleets (Flatbed, Box, refer?) One able to get more miles than the other...local, reginal, national? Happy belated there hindsy

Happy Birthday! Sounds like your having a tough start at Roehl. Keep the positive attitude and remember to be nice. You'll catch more files with honey!
Thanks for your post I appreciate your observations about Roehl. While you have had some mechanical problems it sounds like they are addressing them to the best of their ability to keep you running. Now the planning part sounds a little awkward??
Good luck and keep us posted.. we are listening

Happy belated birthday bro, I celebrated it in style for you last night here at a friends house in Louisiana
Picked up a load in Houston yesterday headed for Mississippi that doesn't deliver until 2200 tonight so got to stop over to catch up on things with a real good friend that I had not seen in a while. A nice plus to trucking that happens on occasions.
