Welcome to May, for the date of this the "fast Track" must have worked. I try not to do this with all trainees but only with the ones that have some kind of experience in one way or another. Also those who have the ability to soak up the info and direction like a sponge. Welcome to May and good luck with your career! If you are one of my students call me if you need me!! Peace!! Remember Safety First!! Have a great ride!!

It was a long day and I'm glad it is completed. Just need to get to work now. -
Sweet man, one step close, hope to see you out there soon. Apple valley that is south of Barstow right?? -
Correct. Alien Abduction Capital of San Bernardino County.
.... and I'm not lying about that. -
Wow! your story mirrors mine. I too just graduated from southwest and am going to orientation with May trucking 2nd week of Nov. I have a question about that 45 degree backing, when I was in school they only covered 3 back moves the straight back, offset, and parallel. so how does that work exactly, cuz I dont want to get caught with my pants down, this job means a lot to me.
-
It's the same as an alley dock or 90 degree back. Instead of it being a 90, it is a 45 degree angle.
-
If you are comfortable with the offset you will be fine with the 45.
