PP Box is antiquated technology. It was good in it's day, just like I was. LOL Today's technology leaders are Bullydog and PDI. My PDI 725hp tune is amazing!

did i miss the reply where pittsburg power was contacted? i must have also missed the reply where a resolution to the the problem was reached or denied. i'm missing the connection between you spending money on a major part that was not right , but taking it to another shop to have the issues fixed. please keep us informed. i have dealt with pittsburg before , but always like to hear good and bad so we are all better informed when we go to make purchases, that's what this forum is all about. johnny
RAG Thanks this. -
Hey guys, Finally got ahold of them last night before they headed to Dallas for the truck show. Pete at Pittsburgh Power was pretty decent about the whole situation. We took it to Allstate Peterbilt and and got the problem resolved, they are just sending the bill do Pittsburgh Power. Same with the guy we dealt with who is building our glider.
As a little side note, If any of you guys are looking into building a glider kit. Hoover's Truck & Equipment out of Dover, OH are great guys to work with! We are out here in Iowa and were always informed to what was going on with the truck. Thank goodness he takes pride in his work and is picky or else we would have never known about the engine problem!
I'll keep you guys updated!
Take Care

Nothing against PP, PDI, or many of the other high performance diesel shops, but the vast majority of the parts they sell are just over-the-counter OEM parts that they (or many times others) found to work better. The masses of people looking to improve their vehicles performance don't realize this fact and end up paying way more moeny than needed. My point is that people should spend the time to do research, learn their engine/vehicle, and ask questions and then do the work themselves so you know it is done right and to YOUR SPECS...NOT OTHERS.

I`ve found "the do it yourself" approach works best for me.Getting harder everyday to find someone who stands behind their work and does what they say they will.

This is very true and this is why I do most of my own work just some of the complex things I cant without 100,000.00 computer but the basic stuff changing injectors setting the overhead all that I do . And too I have a great shop that does stand behind there work and dont try to rob me evertime I am in there ...
