TA Truckstop in Jessup MD

Big Boys has been a favorite of mine for years..

 

Both the TA's in Balt & Jessup are TERRIBLE !! I've been to both many times (we load out of the port of Baltimore frequently). Two years ago I went into the restaurant in the Baltimore location and only carried enough cash for my dinner. I was stopped by the security guard when I tried to exit into the truck lot & asked to see my CDL. He pointed to the sign "No One Allowed into lot except professional drivers". I didnt have my license on me & he walked me to my truck to see it. Later that night I had 3 different lot lizards knocking on my door....Gee guess no one carded them.

 

Question... When did they close the TA in Conley GA? I haven't been in metro Atlanta for probably 4 years now.

Since I opened this thread...

I stopped at the TA in Jessup twice in the last week and would call it one of the nicer TA's I've ever been in. I know the reputation that it has, but the showers were clean, and the breakfast buffet had the best selection of fruit I have ever seen at a truckstop. It was certainly better than it was the last time I took a break there over 2 years ago.

 

I'm looking at it on Google Earth right now, looks eerie.

That place is a Shheee oott State all over. I was working there on the Verizon Fios project and to stay at a red dot inn was 350 a week with not even breakfast. I could live in a hotel on the beaches in FL for the same price w breakfast! All the rest areas were closed! All the road construction is confusing. I ran their tolls in my pov because its such a sheeeoooteee state! Overpriced with a bunch of jack #####!
