"Oh! Youth is wasted on the wrong people." A quote from "It's a Wonderful Life" from the man reading the paper and smoking his pipe when George was about to kiss Mary Hatch!

This parts changer was pretty young.

i seriously hate the noise those things make. i drive a cab over mitsubishi fuso right now( drive B trucks). its got such a quiet jake brake on it that you dont even hear it. i've driven trucks that were louder just on deceleration and the engine braking then this jake brake.

Never really had a problem with someone having their jakes on while idling. I mean, how could you tell, LOL.

Gotta love those companies that have "backup beepers", though. "Look out, I'm backing up!!!" And #### all those other drivers that may be trying to sleep!

I know it's not the drivers who choose those beepers, but still. I know I would be REALLY embarrassed have something like that on my truck.

Back up beepers are usually required by customers. Mines, mills etc.

I once drove an early 90's Mack with a mechanical v-8 that you could turn the jake on while sitting at idle and not stall. It would rattle your teeth out.

Ain't it funny, people whine about jake brakes all the time but let a Harley roll by with drag pipes(which most times are way louder than any jake brake) and it's the coolest thing people have ever heard! I'm just saying

WRONG! Loud bikes, stereo's, cars, jake brakes, etc, all tend to tick me off. It's a "look at me I'm somebody special" kinda attitude.

I'm sorry to be so harsh but are there any "male" truck drivers out on the road anymore? You guys all cry on the board or cry into your radio and stay behind your curtains like scared children.

In this case I would have knocked on his door and asked him nicely to turn them off. If he didn't answer or said no,I would have put duct tape over them myself.

I see guys do stupid stuff all the time and nobody says anything, especially if it is a big strong looking driver oh no not that guy. He looks mean. C'mon guys get a set!

That's not even close to funny. How is someone that is trying to kill an innocent person even remotely funny?
