I saw this compactor in a TS today and can't believe that someone would do this to a trailer. The boards are broken, cross members crushed, and the outside rails rolled over.![]()
Why would someone do this?

Man you never load a machine that heavy with wheels on it like that on a trailer with a wooden deck thats that thin, someone didnt know what the heck they were doing.
simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
Ya it should have went on a beam trl.
-
Ya'll wouldn't cut it hauling Oil Field . . . . . .

Things get ruff away from the asphalt, ain't nothing wrong with that trailer or how that sheep's foot is positioned. WTF?
Would a TempurPedic mattress help?end of the road Thanks this. -
If you must destroy a trl. to haul "Oil field" your just a wheel holder that only cares about a paycheck. Oh by the way I move Oil field equ. at times and have yet to destroy a trl. just so I could say "Look at me I haul Oil field"

I can tell by the picture that's not that compactors first trip. It's been on and off that trailer before. Someone destroyed it before so what the heck, we use this trailer for the compactors from now on, lol. Probably some dump truck rookie with a new cheap road construction company that moved a few dozers before and he got a hold of big daddy. Probably their only trailer they could afford. Landfills wouldn't do that. Plus there's no trash stuck on it. It wasn't a contract haul. They have that strap holding the frame together. DOT would have fun with that trailer.
Pictures speak a thousand words.
Them wheels do what they are designed for, lol.

Sad part is that around here, there are a couple of companies that would have "roaded" that thing. After all, why waste the money on transport when you can just drive it down the freeway, (and hope you don't get caught. . . )
