Smith Transport

If you didn't make it through orientation why should you get paid for it? All payroll is done by Comdata card, which you would not have if you never made it through orientation, or direct deposit.

Just more bad info from a person who doesn't pay attention.

 

Why is Smith running 2 ORIENTATIONS per week? Smith used to be a hard place to get into. NOW they don't stay? How come? Shouldn't have to run that many if you could keep 'em. But I guess you do have to sugar coat things to get them in the door. As everyone reads ALL the boards on Smith they can make up their own minds irregardless as to what is said. But by reading the comments of Guess Who you can tell what kind of people represent the company. Rude, nasty and degrading. Not a good fit for a "reputable" company.

 

Again, misinformed. Smith hasn't run 2 orientations for years. If you are saying I represent Smith Transport, that's fine, because I know what I'm talking about and answer honestly and openly. You want to argue? You will get it right back. You obvious;ly have no idea what you are talking about since everything you have said about Smith is not true/inaccurate. Get your facts straight before you go talking about a company. You don't even work for Smith. How would you know???

Ummmm that would be because your information in the upper right hand corner of your posts says you live in Manchester, NH & you are a trucker's wife? It isn't rocket science. I just know how to read.

I wasn't arguing with you; I was correcting you. You are saying things that simply are not true, wither because you are ill-informed or you are just mistaken. You really ought to get your facts straight before posting, or rather than making bold, blanket statements, ASK.

 

I posted on the other smith forum just in case you didnt know Max Fuller bought smith some time ago and of course is turning it into a baby usxpress,all the nice rigs sold off,old drivers run off,everybody there pissed off, just the way all his co.s are run.Hes figured out you dont make billions(gross) by keeping high dollar good help around.Go find a small co like they were before they got gobbled up!!

 

Max Fuller does not have any input at this time. Smith is still doing things the way they always have.

 

Smith seems like an okay company

 

I wonder how many drivers are getting 3000 or better miles every week not to mention the elusive bonus that some get. Would be interesting to hear the DRIVER'S side for a change. These are the guys that are out there 24-7. As far as misinformation? Sorry, I'm not blind nor am I stupid!

 

you would get a different response from every driver. some drivers have a good experience and talk good abt the company and some a negative experience and trash talk the company, sometimes its better to just try a company out yourself.
