    Yeah, she already sent that e-mail but it's pretty generic, so I was just shopping around. The newguy thread is really good.
    And I didn't have much documentation for the app. as I have worked for the same co for 12 years and just lost the job 2 weeks ago. It's preety much welded into my brain.:biggrin_2559:

    There's a catastrophe gap policy to cover the first 90 days after you are employed - you should take that for yourself. After 90 days, a BCBS of MO HMO policy is available.

    A catastrophe gap, I guess that's better than nothing. Thanks for that info. Guess I will do ok unless I get sick with something bad. I hope the BCBS policy doesn't discriminate against pre-existing conditions.

    He's our safety director... you don't want to run afoul of his office.

    U2 and Sazook are trainin' types...

    Next 2 questions. 1) Do you guys know if there is a way to have the Mo DMV send me the cdl book? I really don't want to have to print out 146 pages at home.

    2) I've seen you guys talking about newbies spending $ at truck stops and such and not taking that into account for payday. I want to make sure that I don't make those same mistakes so...;
    I plan on leaving the house w/ 500. I will take 1/ 200 adv. if need be. Is that enough? And how is it possible to "prespend" your check on the road?

    Again, thanks for helping. You guys are invaluable to us ne guys.
