Just a quick couple of questions here i havn't found on the forum yet.
I've been waiting on May to give me a definate answere on if i'm going to their orientation or not and they've been pretty flakey. i'd like to drive for May but i have to make the choice to MAYBE get what i want or take the sure thing, and Schneider called me yesterday and offered me an orientation date in Fontana, Ca right on the spot, very first phone call.
So i'm trying to gather up a little more info about the company, so far i havn't found anyone who really hates them so that's a nice plus.
here are my questions:
1. they said they'd pay for my Bus ticket to Fontana from Arizona, do they offer tuition reimbursment, and take care of lodgeing expenses and food expenses as well during orientation?
2. how long is their training program, in-class and with a trainer? and what does it cover?
3. Do they pay Lumpers? pay loaded & empty? pay if i get stuck at a shipper for 9 months?
4. what has been your experience with SNI? good, bad, ugly. post up!
i was told 29cpm to start then 31cpm after 6 months, not too shabby to start.
Thanks in advance for all your help everyone. i have a phone interview tomorrow afternoon, whatever i don't see answered on here i'm sure they could help answere, but i wanted to hear it from someone other than a recruiter
Take care!
need more info Schneider

a few more questions that aren't all that important, just curious:
What speed are Schneiders trucks governed at?
What is Schneiders Idle Policy (if any)
will i be able to take my truck home?
any info you may have is much appreciated. thanks again!Last edited: Sep 1, 2010

In my experience, I'll say that if SNI told you, that's the way it'll be. I never felt lied to by them.
Ride-On and NorthWest Wonder Thank this. -
