Can somebody help a girl out?

Mattbnr, seriously? You must be a local driver. Out west you can 300 miles in between truck stops!

 

well for me since I'm not on the road yet and can only give my opinion from my own use in the woods..I feel alot better using that in my stock trailer then goin out in the middle of the nite to squat and for me being a female if I had to go in the middle of the nite in a TS your darn toot'n I'd appreciate having a potty place available in the truck..yes sir re bob

I completely agree with the not wanting to leave the truck in the middle of the night. Even if your in a lit parking lot bad things could still happen. Even in the day time something could happen but the chances of that are a lot less likely. Having the option on the truck readily available. Now would I do that during training no Id be thoughtful to my trainer or just hold it but in my own truck solo dang right ill have something.

 

Late night Truck Stop trolling should be left to the "Professionals" and that is no place for a female driver. Outfit your truck for your safety. There is no shame in not wanting to be out crossing the lot between trucks .... some places I don't even want to be out there.

As for Girl Truckers .... I say the more the better. So much has improved thanks to women truckers. Better bathrooms, cleaner truck stops and better food are just a few.

I can tell you this, being a lady driver, you are going to never be in want of company, weather you want it or not.

 

When I was out there (been off the road almost 10 years now) the guys usually looked out for the lady drivers. I never really felt unsafe out there, even late at night. Things might be different now though.

 

Oh yeah you might like the pink Ropers.

 

There is a ladies thread here also and welcome. If you see me out on the road say hi. You will know me, I'll be the cute one with my nails painted!!!

 

I know for myself, and many others out there, that if I see a lady driver in the lot, at the pumps or anywhere by herself really that I am aware of her and make note that she is not being bothered.

I'm not going to come up to you as that would just make you nervous or something. That would defeat the point.

I don't think that you are "on your own" out there. Us good guys will leave you alone until it seems appropriate to do otherwise.

I think I speak for more drivers than just myself.

Now if you do want me to come up to you then all you have to do is wave a donut around in the air ..... I'm all yours for some glazed goodness.
