PRIME NEWBIES~Any comments from orientation?

There are several threads on this site with postings from IP, Sazook, and U2exit that are filled with a ton of great info.

 

You'll do fine sir... all of us folks with military experience know the score. Best suggestion? Soak up every little bit of knowledge you can, and ask a lot of questions. I think the biggest challenge is getting used to the new sleep patterns that you have to adapt to. So kick back, and enjoy the ride!

 

And several of these posters are extremely opinionated and can't see the forest for the trees. LOL

 

Hey 3David, why don't you just let it go? You are just hurting yourself at this point, your anger at Prime is a bitter pill to keep swallowing, over and over again.

Let it go, put it out of your mind, and be happy. Once you do, you will have that peaceful, easy feeling again.

 

I can see you changed your name... You certainly can't change your stripes.

Edit your posts. Change your name. We've got nothing to hide. Do you?

 

Ok I will, I have nothing to hide, I hate Prime and the things they pull on new guys everyday, If anyone was asking about me changing my name, I changed it because I wanted to get rid of 2 of my kids names. To those who may ask, it means I am a truck driver and daddy 2 4 kids. Thanks TD24

 

You couldn't make it so whine somwhere else. I am no PRIME CHEERLEADER, but I did good there as a Co driver making a min of 900 a week. That says something about a company like they have good freight and there trucks are well kept.

 

With your Navy experience, you should be fine. As you can see, there is a bit of a feud going...if you want good advice and to ask questions of a specific member who actually knows about Prime, you can Private Message through a moderator to one of the guys mentioned above. I'm not sure how much help I could be, but I'll do what ever I can for a fellow Squid.

I worked with Prime for two years until recently when I returned to Swift. I did not leave Prime because it's a bad company. I left Prime because my business model did not fit with theirs. They do things a little differently than I want to. So I went to a company I am more compatible with. It was a business decision pure and simple. So I will be happy to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.

 

Well I am headed to Prime on October 12th. I too am a fellow Squid. I looked at Swift but they didn't seem to fit my business model. However, I am just looking for a start. I have a thread I started and I'll keep you all up to date on my training through there once I begin. I appreciate your service to our country Injun as well as to you Yankee. Well I appreciate all our service members........Marines included LOL!!!!

 

WTH...do all us squids go to Prime? USS America..early 90's
