    They have their own board.

It has a section moderated by their own recruiters.

Lots of positive info on them.

So it is what it is.

I trained at the Millis school in Ohio and drove with them for 14 months, The only reason I left was got lucky and got a local job. While there had a 2 year old truck after 8 months got a brand new KW T2000, they are buying T600's now, got over 3000 miles a week, alot of east, MASS and NJ and upstate NY and south GA and AL, and WI. Got home every other Fri and left back out on Monday. Alot of paper loads and Beer:biggrin_255: . If I went back out OTR would go back to Millis.

Hi, I'd like to give you some info on Millis.

I'm currently at the training center at Millis, in Trenton, Ohio, and it's great. All the trainers are good except one, and hopefully he will be gone soon.

Bill and Woody are fabulous, and really know there stuff. Whether you have prior experience or not, they can either make you good, or really assist your current skills and make you better.

Millis to this oint and time is excellent. I checked out 20+ schools, and they are far above the normal and exceed in most ways. Trucks are great, 1-3 years old, mostly Kenworth T-2000 or T-600, and Century Freightliners.

If your going to come, please email me at hitester1663 at yahoo . com, and I can feed you more info, also, I'd like to refer you, or have you use my name as a referral.

I personally cann't see why any future driver would look at any other company. Excellent pay, excellent benefits, much higher training pay, great incentive pay packages and perks, and so much more.

i have seen a post here asking about millis transport do you mean millis transport or transfer big difference in companies i went to millis transfer in richfield wisconsin great instructor i liked the company had good driver never had a bad word to say about the company BUT if you live in a state where they do not test alot of students stay away from them i am left holding a $2000 bill cause mr millis fired me cause i didn't pass cdl on 3rd try but i had a great trainer I am here with a real big company CONWAY TRUCK LOAD /CFI super company freight is slow at all trucking companies so if you want to stay with consistant miles and don't mind delivering at 2:00 am go reefer they never slow down I am not knocking millis transfer would go back once i get a year but with conway truck load /cfi you will get to see every part of the country and canada so if seeing the country is why your getting into trucking go with a big company millis. when i was with millis transfer it was mostly east of mississippi river with a few loads going to california at conway truck load /cfi we run coast to coast border to border as i write this response i am sitting in sunny laredo texas its 86 degrees and my wife is at home in new england in 30 degree weather ahhhh the life of a long haul trucker hope this helps PM if you need anymore questions:biggrin_25519:

Going to Millis transfers school on march 3rd. I take my road test this thursday 14th here in Rhode Island. I'm having some trouble getting on with companies because I went/going thru the teamsters training academy. Were trained on
28 ft trailers mainly for P & d and doubles. The school is 320 hrs and I still had problems. I was looking at Conway/cfi and was going to Joplin for Feb 25 but the called and rescinded the offer because in the past people who trained on 28ft trailers and from the northeast didn't pass there orientation. What school did you go to in order to get with CFI/Conway truckload? crowder? Millis was one of the first I applied to and the other was Superior Carriers but because I didnt go to NETTS I cant get hired on with them.
