Can you tell me the last time someone asked a coherent question that HAS NOT been answered on this forum? Most questions are answered quickly, and with thought. Yes, there are some smart answers. You will find that anywhere, but overall, questions are answered. After a page or two, what else can be said about a certain topic unless someone is telling an ongoing story of their trucking journey. That is when things usually slide toward another topic that happened to be mentioned in one of the answers.
I have seen lots of good advice on this forum, and some not so good, mostly good or great. How many thousand times can you answer the question "I'm going to CR England next week, what can you tell me about them". Right there you know you are fighting a losing battle. This person has already made up their mind, and have came here for praise for their decision, not the truth. When directed to thousands of threads and direct answers, these posters turn defiant and rude, claiming all the negative posters had a bad attitude, were slackers, or do not have the ability to stick with things like they do.
These posters do what they wanted against advice, promising to keep all apprised as to how wrong they were. Things are like Alice in Fairyland for a few weeks, then we start to hear grumblings, them most of the posters disappear, never to be heard from again. Some come back to tell us we were right, but very few are ever seen again. Yet, we all try to offer advice to the next person in the long line that ask the same question, even though we know that advice will most likely be ignored.
Many of the people on this forum have came to know each other and converse. Quite a few have met each other. It only stands to reason that things would tend to turn to socialization between members who happen to stumble upon the same forum, and have the same opinion.
People, lighten up a little bit. Things are hard enough without someone with a stick up their rear complaining about a few post getting off track long after the original question has been answered. Do you really think it takes 5000 post to tell someone CR England sucks?
using threads as glorified PM-ing...?

Thank you Stranger!!!!! Very Well put!!

When I was new and even now, I do get answers to my questions quickly and yes, they are in the first few posts. If the thread is that intersting it will continue along with little or no hijacking or get back on track quickly-there are several now that are not hijacked.
What those that are coming on here complaining about are NOT realizing is that this is a SOCIAL networking site. Note: the word social defined by Merriam-Webster : marked by or passed in pleasant companionship with one's friends or associates
: or relating to human society, the interaction of the individual and the group, or the welfare of human beings as members of societyrocknroll nik Thanks this. -
Daily, just look at the entire board, forums and sub forums. There are some unanswered threads current and several with single replies. I guess that sometimes, "help", is in the eye of the giver.
You are right, this site has become an eSocial scene with some informational archives.
Just because I, or other members, do not agree with you, does not mean that we have," a stick yp our rears".
I was responding to the OP. I am not here to have to defend myself against the bully team.
I know that this thread will probably be deleted, but I made my stand. -

This site isn't perfect, and I don't claim we can please everybody. We prefer constructive criticism to help us improve the site, but failing that, most people that don't like it here have the decency to head for the exit without making a big scene. You can't seem to find it yourself, so allow me to show you the door.Texas-Nana, rocknroll nik, Lilbit and 6 others Thank this.

i knew it would be bleeped out---the stars could have meant anything
BUT i wont do it again---cause it is the same as what i was complaining about---

cant everybody just get along?
no group hug needed--that is just to weirdrocknroll nik Thanks this.
