TY Mark, will do. Sounds like you're really happy there and they treat you right. Since I live in Den sounded like the logical place to start. I'll let you know what I find out. Paul

Seems that you add more credibility to yourself every time you post. A lot of guys, (for whatever reason) would try to deny the referral fee. Don't know why. . .

Anyway, keep up the good work!:biggrin_25519:

Docholiday, It is very refreshing seeing another experianced driver give a "real" take on a company. I know as well as you that yo will find small things that you dont like, but thats anywhere you go. I have direct dealing with not only JBS Swift packing plant in Cactus,Tx but know several of their local/OTR Reefer and cattle haulers and they are all tickeled pink workin for them. They have little things they would like to see differant but the good far outways the small stuff. As for the driver who said they have bad drivers, maybe thats up there in Co. but I see them daily/nightyly here as I live 4 miles from one of the feedlots here in Amarillo, Tx they pull their "fats" from and have only in all fairness seen one driver act stupid! (tailgating) again, I see them daily here! As for three road drivers who are friends of mine (one came from a company that JBS bought out in Utah) they are all very happy and have almost said word for word what Docholiday has said! Again these are experianced drivers not "crybaby jobhoppers"! I work for a company that pulls directly for JBS Swift, (BTW JBS has just bought Pilgims pride among several other companies.) We go out with JBS and come back with JBS (pilgrims Pride). They are a very stable company who are expanding their Cactus,tx plant to almost double! Again Doc.....Glad to see your doin well with JBS! Drive safe and thanx for a post thats not full of negative nit-pickin!

To all the newbies......Listen to the experienced men/women here! Ask them to help read between the "lies"! Before this post is 2 days old there will be a bunch of negative crybabies sayin JBS sucks! most will have less than 3 yrs driving! you all drive safe!!!!!!!!

Mark, thanks again for all your excellent information you post here on this site. Rookies like me really appreciate it and I personally can't thank you enough. I know I have really followed this thread as JBS was a company I was looking at prior to seeing this thread. Having all this info now is a big help!!

Anyway, not to thread jack you, but I know in other posts I have seen you say that any rookies should contact you for companies you believe won't steer an inexperienced guy like me wrong for the most part. Since I don't have PM privileges yet, can you email or PM me those who you believe in?

I am starting at Sage here in Denver the first week in October and am just about ready to start applying to companies to be pre-hired. One I will apply to for sure is JBS as they are hiring from the Sage school I will be attending, but i want to apply at others as well and your advice will help.
I will be using your name as well as a reference as the information provided here is invaluable.
