i AM familiar with NUTTTS.........
now, i was told by a very reliable source ( i fully trust) that,
they lost or are about to lose their accreditation........mainly due to the high failure rate at the MASS DMV..........what does THIS TELL YOU.........?? and by the by, the accreditation affects the ENTIRE NUTTTS locations.........!!!!!!!
and things are SLOW all over, NUTTTS has had lay-off's as well of some of their instructors. they certainly DO NOT have all 30(??) of the instructors there at one time.....
again........I AM FAMILIAR........with NUTTTS...........
oh yeah..........of course the instructors are going to say, "they are the best"...............they want to keep their jobs.......so they "kiss arse"..........geoshawa Thanks this. -
Hey there I will tell you something that should comfort you a little. The school means nothing what so ever. I graduated from Americas Driving Force in Atlanta. I checked out all the schools in my are prices ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 for 160 hour course. I called some companies and they said we dont care about what school you graduated from as long as you did attend a school. I went with the cheapest and passed the Georgia DMV test on the first try. I applied with FFE out of Dallas and drove for 8 months all last winter and drove in 35 states without a single mishap. I wouldnt be to woried if I were you the fact is your CDL A is not any less valid than someone who went to a cheap crappy school like I did. Start worrying about how to get through 6 weeks with some Punk trainer who might not be any better than you!
Capt_Gruuvy and geoshawa Thank this. -
I have heard about the mass students failing, And all that has been said it isnt the school failing its the students forgetting microsteps, Sence they have revampped the training and changed some stuff around. require a pretest befor you go for test... And I would say at any time theres at least 15-20 intstructors on weekdays, On weekends ive heard horror stories from some 1 who switched to week days.. But ya i see what u mean

I never heard of it. Yet the only ones you hear of are near your hometown or job.
There are so many schools now its pathetic. Getting a good reference is almost impossible unless you can connect with someone in here.
Today I would think the better ones are classes offered at a community college.
The length of the school ought to be some indicator of how thorough the training is.geoshawa Thanks this. -
Lol some punk trainier, how about a guy whos never drove a truck, done a pretrip, break check or circle check trying to teach me..He flat out told me ive never drove a truck but im qulifyed enouf to read this paper and tell you how to do it... Now thats just sad... Oh and he was a mechinic and never went to school for that either... How does that work lol.. But thank you for the info.. Kinda sad that they are chargeing people close to 10,000$ now thank god when they tryed to get that from me i was like #### that ####... I had to unenroll last year due to operations and started back a few weeks back... They were like cost went up and you have to pay more... All together its a 20 week course 10 in class 10 in the field... How does that sound?

Which makes me wonder about the validity of schools in the first place. If it doesn't matter where you go, it shouldn't matter if you went, as long as you've got the license.
As to schools in New England, the only one I would consider is White Mountains Community College. The only downside (other than cost) is that it's in Berlin, NH. (a stone's throw from Canada).
I've gone the old school route with my CDL training. -
Kinda sad tho i was hoping that where u at least learned how to drive from would help alittle bit, may it will for the local reciters?
-
WMCC was charging half that when I last checked into them.
