Instead of Questions from New Drivers, this is Questions for New Drivers.
I'm curious and I'm sure there is a great variance.
What are students being paid when they first start training on their first job??
Keep it simple. This thread could be a good reference on what to expect and which job to take. Thanks!

Swift pays new drivers based on the days that you are working (assigned to the truck). You are not paid per week, you are paid per day. For days 1 to 28, that daily rate is $64.29/day. On day 29 to the end of training, that rate goes up to $71.43/day. Pay starts when you are driving. You are not paid during orientation, nor while waiting for assignment to a mentor.
