Chris, Check out the Blue Parrot. It's a blue tooth head set designed for truckers. You can read about it on-line. There are 2 versions available. I'm picking one up as soon as I upgrade my Nextel service. I heard they were available at Walmart, but I haven't verified that yet.

Just be sure when you upgrade, your new phone has a T3 or T4 rating so it can "talk" to the headset.

Thanks Sammycat, It has been interesting to say the least as to following Chris, but I think I finally figured it out. Everyone here seems so real. I can tell you from first hand experience that that is exactly what Chris is. A rare find these days. Hopefully he'll be back in NJ so we can take the bike out one last time before the weather changes. You would really enjoy a ride. He is very experienced and makes me feel very comfortable on the back. Anyway, thanks for the welcome. I need to get a certain number of posts here before I can PM Chris. AT, Thanks for the link about the Blue Parrot. I think Chris will also find it useful.

I read your posts about the possibility of the NASCAR hauler, or the derivative of one. I think the only way that would let you down is if NASCAR just up and vanished, and I doubt that will happen any time soon.

I don't know, man. If you could swing it, that might be the dream job. If it were me, I'd be thinking real hard about that one. The equipment would most likely be top notch. You can't have those rigs on the side of the road waiting on service.

Do a spread sheet comparison, and see how they match up. The home time might be an issue but only you can make that call.

Are you weighing that against signing on with W/S?

I've only known Chris for a short time, but he is about as genuine a person as you can find. I look forward to the day I can finally meet him in person. Hopefully, that shouldn't be too far into the future.

Well I just got off the phone with Matt. It'a looks like I won't be running with W/S cause of a careless operation ticket from 3 yrs ago.
