I have one question for drivers that have worked for this company.
Was it the pretty girl or the shiney Peterbilt that you drooled over in their ad that got your attention and the next thing you know you are working for nothing?
Does anyone ever read the lease agreement anymore? -
hum ? I got to go with the girl. But nothing makes me drool more than a pretty girl bending over a shiney fuel tank:smt117roaddawg92 Thanks this.

i worked for them in 2001, a 2001 379 ,with a 70 inch sleeper, it would run over one hundred miles an hour!!it was tore up inside the air in the bunk didnt work, the stereo loom was cut out, burns on the dash from other peoples cigarettes, the front fender was bent, with just a little over 100,000 miles,i worked for just over a month ,and was on a load from worcester ma.h&m bay, two drops in vegas and five more in the los angeles area, when i was in vegas ,i called eddie and asked for fuel money for the reefer,he sent $15.00 dollars !!i also added fuel money from my pocket,i delivered two drops in city of industry and was heading into los angeles when the reefer ran out of fuel!! i did make the deliveries in los angeles, and got all paperwork signed. i headed to ontario california, where the truck was almost out of fuel,,the t.a. truck stop i sat there for about 10 hours, when i got pissed off at the stiuation enough to quit!! i sat there and sold my tv,radar detector, and cb radio,,people asked why i was selling this stuff and i told them i was leaving this truck there, apparently after i left, someone stold their truck and stripped it,,,,,,,hurricane told their insurance i stold it!!,,which i did not !!i never got any money from other than about $40 dollars left over from a fuel advance.i am trying to a copy of my dac,,,as i have been turned down for some jobs, and i have a great driving record.i was not going to haul another load for them!!and not going to give them the satisfaction of me driving it back to arkansas for them. they have a couple of full time truck recoverie drivers they send all over the states,,i should have known when i was filling out application, and they got word there was another one in new jersey for their recovery guy.but they had to wait for to get back on the recovery he was doing! would i recommend anyone to them??HELL NO !!!!!!

Let me ask you something what part of this rip-off family are you part of? Are you the son the father or the mother. Crackerhead!
Rosebud77 and roaddawg92 Thank this. -
I'm afraid to open this can of worms.....but have you ever heard of a commercial lien? Google that....

These people have been around for years....Anyone running trucks capable of running triple digits screams irresponsibility to me. Do drivers really need to jeopardize their careers running trucks like this? I think not. Your clean license IS your career! Guard it as such. Furthermore, ANY....I repeat ANY trucking company that keeps running ads in trucking publications is PROBABLY NOT a company you want to work with. Why would a GREAT company be constantly recruiting drivers? Hurricane Express.....I don't think so.....

Their trucks don't run triple digits....they are cut back to 64 mph I believe. I see them running from the northeast to the west coast mainly with loads brokered through CH Robinson. I would still avoid them at any and all costs. And some reputable companies do run ads, like the company that I currently work for. We had an increase in work so they are in the process of hiring about 2,000 more drivers.

I made the unfortunate mistake of working for these criminals for one month too. I was assigned a load from Springdale, AR to Houston, TX. I wasw told to be ready for this load in the morning so I waited...and I waited....and I waited for about 6 hours just to recieve the dispatch. Upon arrival to the shipper, the load was not completed, I waited another 3 hours. I headed to OKC as per fueling instructions and needed to take the required 10 hour break. I called the company to inform them that I would need to reschedule the early morning delivery due to log book compliance. The so-called safety director told me to rewrite my logs for the previous couple days and just adjust my times to reflect an earlier departure. I refused to run illegal for them and I was rewarded with a demand to return the truck after my next run. I NEVER received a single dollar from them the entire month I was there. I have been turned down for a couple jobs apparantly due to a bad DAC report. I have ordered my report and am anxious to see what the heck is on it. I have never in my entire life left a job on bad terms, I have always done my best to be professional and have done so with the highest regard to honesty and integrity. I tried to contact the boys and find out why they never paid me, they just kept giving the run around and hanging up on me.
My first pay period, I was told that they could not cut a check, because they would not pay anyone less than $300.00 the first check, they claimed they would attatch it to the next pay period. I got $0.00. I guess to sum it up, I donated 1 month of my life to hauling their freight. I would like to discourage anyone and everyone from waisting time even calling them. I am currently in the business of apprehending fugitives, one day this whole bunch of criminals will be arrested. If they get bailed out, I PRAY that they miss jump bail so I can have the pleasure of dragging the sorry butts to jail. I may even do it for free.
