We use qualcomm and loose leave paper logs. They also let you use DDL which is awesome and saves alot of headaches and stupid errors.

As far as the classic unfortunately they aren't ordering new ones so yes if there is one available its been whatever you said lol.

If I'm not mistaken Freightliner has discontinued the Classic. Now your choises are the Coronado, Columbia, or Cascadia.

    Alanp613 Thanks this.

It looks more like a Classic with a more modern hood than the old Coronado. Is it built in Mexico too like the others?

I believe the Cascadia replaced BOTH Century and Columbia.

Ok, so do they match Qualcomm to your logs? What do you HAVE to log accurately? Just fuel stops?

What trucks do you see the most, sitting at the yard?

The up side to getting an older truck is......it's paid for sooner!

Finally, what percentage of the fleet would you guess-stimate has APUs and do they use Webastos in the trucks at all??

    # TheLittleGuy, No they do not match QC to logs, they only watch the fuelstops and those must match within 15mins. The trucks i see sitting at the yard the most...well i don't get the luxury to sit at the yard so i can't comment. I would have to say about 70% has an apu, but if you buy new odds are you will have to pay to put it on. Otherwise 70% will have them on already, you just pay the balance owed on the apu. the tri-pac apu comes with an Espar heater...Hope that helps.
