1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

My husband is currently with US Xpress. They are ok but he can't ever seem to get home time nor can we afford it. Also, not getting good miles consistently. He really needs to get with a good company based out of Florida. We currently live in the Hudson area. Our daughter has Austim and needs her Daddy.

There are several foodservice companies within driving distance to your area.

SYSCO has two locations: Palmetto and Ocoee, FL

    MBM is in Lakeland

    SYGMA is in Orlando

    McLane is in Kissimmee

US Foodservice in Tampa and Lakeland

All of these jobs require physical labor in addition to driving, and all will pay about 50k a year with full benefits. Your husband would be home at least eery other night in most cases. SYSCO and US Foodservice both have a lot of daily routes.
